Tjobs.ro, the recruitment platform, that manages over 90% of overseas jobs offered by Recruitment Agencies in Romania, in addition to vacancies advertised directly on its platform by foreign employers, offering a total monthly average of 20,000 vacancies, has closed a financing round led by local and overseas investors, including Andreas Cser, an Angel Investor based in London, the Post-Privatization Foundation and Alexis Bonte, a well regarded serial investor into Romanian growth companies.
Tjobs.ro was launched in June 2009, in Tîrgu-Mureş and has become the only national recruiting platform that verifies the overseas vacancies advertised in Romania, thus eliminating one of the main challenges applicants face when trying to secure a position abroad: false or misleading job postings, not backed by actual vacancies.
Tjobs.ro was established to help Romanian job applicants looking for a reliable and consistent resource for vacancies. Moreover, Tjobs.ro created a series of detailed Guides covering essential know-how that Romanian employees can benefit from when starting a job in a foreign country.
Tjobs.ro has implemented a standard of excellence for Recruitment Agencies – the "T Standard" – awarded to agencies that comply with a very strict and rigorous process of verification, which encompasses their job postings and working procedures.
Last but not least, Tjobs.ro serves as a stable and reliable source for qualified and trusted personnel for the foreign employers.
In 2010 138,133 Romanians obtained positions abroad via the Recruitment Agencies that are Tjobs.ro members. Positions were filled in countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Italy, Denmark, Spain, etc., and on Cruise Ships, as well as in a variety of sectors, including Hospitality, Transport, Industry, Construction, Healthcare, Agriculture, and in unskilled positions.
Tjobs.ro has obtained the investment after taking part in the first Venture Connect event organized in June 2010 by law firm Biris Goran.
